Release: Momo
Today’s release is a bit late since I had a flight yesterday. My family’s moved to Florida and I went to join them yesterday. I’m so sore and tired from carrying my heavy backpack everywhere, so I’m gonna make this short, especially since I have a ton of stuff to do (or avoid doing)… X_X
Sorry to keep you all waiting for this one (finals really suck)! Momo Volume 2 Extra and Volume 3 Chapter 10: Momo-chan’s Pleasant Day are our releases for today! The awesome infinitylight was kind enough to scan all the stuff you’d be missing out on since we’re scanlating Momo from Ribon magazine (which is incredibly difficult to edit! I don’t know how we’d do it without her) instead of the actual compiled volume, so we’ve got that and scans of the cover for you today! I know that we still haven’t released volume 1′s cover scans yet, but those will be coming out when we release the oneshot at the end of volume 1 (currently in editing). Not much action going on in chapter 10 compared to the past two chapters aside from Yume getting another point, but it’s a slow introduction to the next arc that will be happening in volume 3, so hope you love that juicy cliffhanger!
Starry Heaven is still in need of a quality checker or two (if you’re not experienced in quality checking and know how to edit, then we can show you the ropes)! Also, we lost a Japanese proofreader, so if any of you out there know a decent amount of Japanese but don’t want to translate, please apply!
Release: Boku no Hatsukoi wo Kimi ni Sasagu
Happy late fourth guys! Sorry but now that I’ve finished up Persona 4 (undub), I’m onto a couple of other different games, like Final Fantasy XII (undub again–too bad there’s no undub for the Zodiac version like there is for FFX international) and The World Ends With You~ But enough gaming, we must release!
But before I do, I must say I was hoping we’d have a couple of releases for you guys yesterday, but unfortunately we have a small problem: we only have one QCer! So if there’s any experienced QC’ers or any lazy editors who don’t mind fixing things up to make sure our scanlations look perfect, please apply! Also, suddenly our editing staff shrunk! I guess the anniversary was too much for people. If you’re interested in editing as a full-time editor for now or for the summer, then please apply as well~
Boku no Hatsukoi wo Kimi ni Sasagu volume 5 chapter 23: First Death is our release for today. I’m sure all of you who knows what’s about to happen to poor Teru knows what that means! As soon as Takuma breaks up with Teru, he has full intentions of going to meet Mayu, but will he be able to make it on time? Before Kou shows up and steals Mayu away for good? Or will something tragic happen to prevent him from going as quickly as he wanted?
