Release: Hakushaku to Yousei
Hello everybody~ Hope you’re all enjoying yourselves. Me, I’ve been sitting on my butt doing absolutely nothing the past week. Can’t believe I’ve been here in Florida for only a week. It feels like forever. @_@ But I’ve finished Lost season 5, and now I’m all out! What do I watch next?? My boyfriend suggests House, so I guess I’ll go ahead and download season 1 of that, but I wonder if I should see what’s currently airing as far as anime goes. I kinda dropped out of the anime scene back at the beginning of the winter season. Guess I should pick up the few stuff I was attempting to watch, eh?
In any case, today we have a double treat for you all: Hakushaku to Yousei volume 1 chapters 1 and 2! We figured we should do a double release, since chapter 1 was already released by kookiemonstar about seven months ago. However, I believe kookiemonstar translated from Chinese, so there are a few differences in translation from the original Japanese. Many thanks to Maris for buying these two volumes and scanning them for us! And shout outs to Nevi and star_light, who spent so much time going back and forth during the QC session. Also props to Ciel for the lovely colorization in chapter 1~
If you haven’t seen the anime, I would suggest checking that out as well, although there are some big differences from the manga and anime, the manga following the first novel, He’s a Refined Villain, much more closely. So, enjoy these first two chapters and to those new to the story, hope you all grow to love it as much as I do. Chapter 3 should be out within the next few weeks~

Hmm I haven’t done these in like four months, huh? Oops! Well, Ciel thought it’d be nice if I’d keep doing them, so I’ll start again with the most current issues! It appears that in issue 9 of Ribon, Shinjou Mayu will be debuting with a new serialization called Heart no Diamond. Maybe we’ll pick it up? Although we do have a lot of projects right now…and for them we need more Japanese translators and few more editors! At the moment I guess we’re doing okay for QCers, since Sooty came back from vacation, though. :)
Release: Mayonaka no Ariadne
Ugh, I didn’t have internet all weekend, so this release is a bit late. Oh well, I marathoned the first five episodes of season 5 of Lost and played more Final Fantasy XII (undub) while it was out. So glad it’s back now though! ><
Today we have Mayonaka no Ariadne volume 1 chapter 3: Dim Light for your reading pleasure. We last left Chiyoko walking off with a strange guy from a different high school who claims he knows what Chiharu is up to. Is going off with him a safe idea? At the very least, she’s got her personal protector, since Chiharu follows along. Will Chiyoko learn exactly what’s happened to Chiharu from Nogami? Or will it be Chiharu himself to confess?
